It’s in our very first years in life, when our brains are rapidly developing, that we first begin to grow our social skills, which will help us throughout the rest of our lives.
Our little learners at Mad Hatter House, are supported to develop these skills everyday.
We do this by setting up environments where children are drawn to work together, to jointly solve challenges, share creations, and enjoy one another’s company.
Educators also help children develop skills for communicating their thoughts and feelings with others, and support them to listen to the ideas of others.
It’s not always easy or smooth sailing, but over time we delight in watching these relationships between children blossom, as they build friendships and grow together. How lucky are we!
